LOCATION: The village of Pomoshtnik (Stara Zagora District) is located in South-Eastern Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Galabovo. The village is located at the food of the Sakar Mountain in hilly area. At the west end of the village is located the "Mogilite"/meaning mounds/. The name comes from the many mounds erected here since Roman times to the time in which "socialism" no one is interested, and later looted by treasure hunters.
