It is situated in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains at a distance of 240 kilometers from the capital Sofia and 85 kilometers to the south of Plovdiv, the second largest town in Bulgaria. Both towns have their airports. You can easily get to Pamporovo by bus from either Sofia or Plovdiv. There are direct bus lines. You can also easily get to Pamporovo by car. With its landmarks, unique nature, excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions, numerous opportunities for entertainment and recreation, the area around Pamporovo is considered to be one of the most attractive places in Bulgaria and a proffered holiday destination for many people in the winter as well as in the summer!
