Vetren(St.Zagora)

    The village of Vetren is located in southern Bulgaria only 14 km from the town of Maglish. Maglish is a town and a municipality which includes 14 settlements with 12655 residents. It is part of Stara Zagora Province.
   The municipality of Maglizh is located in the center of Southern Bulgaria, between the Stara Planina and Sredna Gora Mountains. The elevation above sea level varies from 265 meters to 1485 meters.
   The territory of the municipality is rich in fresh subterranean water that springs from alluvial cones at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountain. Because the water contains fluorine, hydrogen sulfide and meta silicon acid, it is extremely beneficial for healing skin diseases, and helping those afflicted with orthopedic, neurological, gynecological and other medical problems. There are mineral spas in the village of Yagoda catering to guests with these problems or just in need of revitalization. These natural waters provide many opportunities for the potential investor. There are already initial investments in a mineral water swimming pool and a hotel.
   Traditional industrial sectors in the municipality are logging, and wood processing, based on the woodlands in the surrounding mountains.
   Agriculture is well developed. The land is favorable for cultivating wheat, barley, maize, sunflower, and tobacco. In the last years the plantations with essential oil plants (rose, lavender, etc.) are growing. The Tundzha River flows through the region providing a natural asset for agricultural irrigation.
   Visitors to the town of Maglizh will enjoy an extensive exhibit of the minerals found in Bulgaria, visit the Saint Dimiter Church, acknowledged as an important monument of culture and the Maglizh Monastery, founded in 12-13th century, located north-west to the town.
   The historical and cultural sites of Maglizh, combined with the picturesque routes in the nearby mountains and the natural mineral springs represent an excellent foundation for the development of tourism.
   The village of Vetren is a calm, beautifully natured and well developed village. A lot of UK people already have bought their houses here. The village offers six food stores, cafe-bars, pub and bus transport to the town.
