The village of Liubenovo is located in southern Bulgaria 17 km from the town of Radnevo. Radnevo is a town and a municipality which includes 23 settlements with 23012 residents. It is part of Stara Zagora Province. The Municipality of Radnevo is situated in the eastern part of the Upper Thracian Plain, covering an area of 545,2sq. m. The municipal land is flat, with an average altitude of 141,1 m above sea level. The region enjoys a mild climate with an average annual temperature around 12,1° C. The rich black earth with large humus stratum and moderate rainfall is highly beneficial to agriculture. There is a mineral water spring with a temperature of 31° Ń in the village of Topolyane. Ovcharitsa Dam lies on an area of 627 hectares and is a favourable place for recreation and fishing. All communities within the municipality are supplied with water and electricity, phone lines, and up-to-date telecommunications facilities. The mild climate, rich soils and hot water made the region around Radnevo attractive place for people to settle here in the ancient times. The first people who came to live here were the Thracian tribe Pirogeri. They built their settlements 4,000 years ago. Later, the Romans set a road station called Arzus. More than 300 unique archaeological sites were uncovered on the territory of Radnevo municipality: strongholds and fortifications, ancient settlements, tells and mounds. All archaeological finds, including a number of object made of gold, silver, bronze, stone and bone are exhibited in the town archaeological museum. The village of Liubenovo offers three food shops, cafe-bar and bus transport. It stands at on a plain with fantastic outlook offering relaxing ambience. A magnificent river passes near by the estate for those who like fishing.
