The village of Kozarevets is located in southern Bulgaria 30 km from the town of Stara Zagora. Stara Zagora is a town and a municipality which includes 51 settlements with 183347 residents, it is also a Province. The municipality of Stara Zagora is located in south central Bulgaria, in the Upper Thracian Plains, at the foot of the Sredna Gora mountain. The climate is temperately continental, with some elements of Mediterranean influence and an average annual temperature of 12.8 degrees Centigrade. The municipality enjoys short, mild winters and dry, warm summers. Soils are maroon in the hilly area and mostly black-earth in the meadows. Natural subterranean mineral water springs are found 14 kilometers from Stara Zagora in the picturesque Sredna Gora Valley where the Stara Zagora mineral baths are located. Water capacity is 20 litters per second and the surface temperature is 42 degrees C. This water is beneficial in the healing of neurological, gynecological, kidney and intestinal ailments. The clear fresh mountain air and agreeable climate is conducive to treatment for respiratory illness as well as general revitalization. These subterranean waters are rich in minerals and taste providing the potential investor with opportunities for successful bottling and exporting and an avenue for tourism. Ayazmo Park, one of the landmarks of Stara Zagora, is situated on the southern flank of the Sredna Gora mountain in an area of 3800 decares. The park has over 150 rare and exotic species of vegetation from different parts of the world along with an astronomy observatory, a zoo, open-air theater, small hotel, restaurants, children's playgrounds, and a sports complex. Stara Zagora has a rich cultural tradition with a historical museum, art galleries, opera house, dramatic theater, puppet theater and an active artistic community. Mild climate and rich soil are the perfect combination for Stara Zagora's successful agricultural sector where cereals, sunflower, vegetables and grapes are grown. In October 2004, Stara Zagora Province was awarded for having the best quality of life in Europe, together with Greater Zurich (Switzerland), and ahead of Andalucia (Spain), and Flanders (Belgium). The village of Kozarovets offers two food shops, cafe-bar, school and supplied bus transport to the town. The place is calm and quite.
